I think this is going to be the mother of internet shopping seasons- you know whats amazing too, is all the brick and mortars who have come online in the last 1.5 years and picked up where the failed dotcoms left off. Safeway and Albertsons do grocery, KB toys is online, even Petco. It seems like lots of companies have ramped from last year on the net. I doubt the brick and mortars would step up if there were no money in it.

On the corporate capex side the only thing I see is the shift from wireline to wireless technologies for Lans. Not too big of a deal I guess, otoh maybe it is. Eventually wireless connectivity should overtake the enterprise, you have to start somewhere. Wireless technologies save a lot of money on the IT side.

The broadcom call said Gigabit ethernet is strong. Apparently this is moving to the desktop... maybe thats a catalyst for PCs. I read the mrvl and brcm threads for that-

(I agree with you not too much to get excited about on the PC side)
