You need only read Invictus [Tim's selection as his epitaph], read his writing re Waco etc, and watch him go to his death to understand his point of view, which is similar to Ted Kaczynski's though less erudite. People seem ever-torn between goose-stepping slavishness and freedom. Tim and Ted combined the two incompatible concepts in acts of their own totalitarian murder in the name of freedom. They ended others and themselves in a Black Hole, which is what you'd expect with two extremes combined - just like in nature. Freedom + Goose-Stepping = A Black Hole. There's no need to create an artificial link of Tim to Iraq. Any link was created by the USA sending Tim to kill Iraqis, which apparently he did, but is irrelevant other than as psychological lead-up to his decision to attack the USA and avenge the attack on Waco. Tim didn't say "Saddam made me do it". He was the captain of his soul. The collateral damage of the children in the Creche was unfortunate to Tim, who didn't know about them before he bombed them - a warning to those who think they can blow somebody up to sort out a problem. If he'd known they were there, I wonder whether he would have continued - I doubt it, though I think he maintained his mass murder was justified anyway [tough to confront mass killing of children and admit you really made a very big mistake = better to maintain to yourself that it was justified anyway]. The government was saving the children of Waco from the bad religious wackoes. Tim was avenging the murder of those children and others at Waco. Between Tim and the Janet Reno, a LOT of children were saved, in the sense that Jesus saved their souls [if you believe that nonsense]. Mqurice
