Well, I don't know if "funny" was what all the self-righteous right wingers thought it was or not. They were certainly unapologetic about it.

Of course, the bloviating pundits aren't exactly shy about calling anybody who won't get with the "War Now!" program appeasers or traitors either. But it's all somebody else's fault if the "debate" is less than edifying, eh?
