I fully agree with you. An SPX of 300 is well within the realms of possibility. Some people might think that it is a "sky is falling down" scenario. Hardly. At that time, the market cap to GDP ratio would be at 40% or so. We have been at those levels without the sky having fallen.

The market may eventually become underpriced but you are dismissing the possibility that this could be a secular bear market where the valuations wont be cheap for years, maybe many years, to come.

It's going to really smart if you miss the first bull cycle. It might be better to error on the side of something rather than nothing.
