Uh gee, sorry Hawk, that I'm not a mindreader. Do I believe Bush should have spent more on defense prior to 9/11. Bush's attitude before 9/11 was laissez faire, follow the course of action of his predecessor. From what I've read he had no foreign policy. Do I think Bush should have spent more money on defense. I think since he's the president he should have attended to his duties, which up until 9/11 he was remiss in those duties.
