My belief is our biggest threat is China. I think we should be doing everything we can to protect our own borders

China is a rising power and a global rival. But their very size makes them a more rational player -- they have more to lose. China will move into confrontation with the US when they have grown their economy some more; until then they will be content to sell to us.

North Korea is scary because the whole system is not just Stalinist, but frankly insane, and dead broke to boot with little to lose, but with a very big army. Nobody knows what any of the leaders are thinking or how they make decisions.
