Al >who wants the US taken out militarily/economically by making US look like a leper to the rest of the world?

Even if a handful of unknown, jihad-crazed, Islamic fundamentalists could wish for such a thing do you actually believe they could seriously damage either the economy or the prestige of the US, a country which has more wealth and more military might than probably the rest of the world put together? And then, assuming they were successful, do what? Occupy the White House?!

There has been more than enough published by and from the various US "think-tanks" which not only indicate, but seriously demonstrate, that the way forward for the US is to expand its military and consolidate its "empire".

Here's quite a good discussion although not exactly on the same subject.

Apropos your statement about the Palestinians, I don't
believe you can be serious.

>They have no balls to win a fair fight and now they prefer bombing instead.

How can a virtual rabble, with no army and no economy take on the might of Israel which has not only one of the strongest armies in the world but also has nuclear weapons? If you were a Palestinian who had seen his land, his home, everything, taken away by virtual foreigners, I wonder how would you feel? Do you really believe that, if the young Palestinians had any kind of reasonable life expectation, that they would resort to suicide attacks? I don't. I believe they are frustrated beyond any reasonable norm, angry and desperate.

>he would have much rather preferred to come in and enjoy years of prosperity while sampling the concubine pool like Clinton did

I am sure you are right but history chose him for a much more important task.
