Al > Searle, the Arab world fought 3 wars with Israel and every time lost.

Absolutely correct. The State of Israel was born in blood and continues to live in it. Nice.

>Had they fought none, Israel would be much smaller even than it is now and the Palestinians much better off.

That's in a perfect world. Britain, having given the same piece of land to two competing groups, like throwing a bone to two dogs, knew there would be war. Only thing was that Britain expected the Arabs to win because they were its "surrogates".

>Don't break off a little pinky like Palestine and tell me it's the problem. The problem is Israel vs. Arabs, it's been there since Biblical times,

However you chose to view the contest it exists. That's a fact and, as it stands, it's insoluble because the radicals/extremists dominate. There are many reasonable Palestinians and Israelis who would give anything for immediate peace but their voice is not heard.

> and apparently it's fair game for any potential antagonist who wishes to use that conflict to their own nefarious ends. The list of the latter includes Persia, Russia, Europe, and China.

Why don't you add the US and the UK who are probably the biggest mischief makers. I say the UK because they always were and the US because of the present pro-Israel "Amen Corner" which totally dominates US foreign policy in the region.

>The Palestinians...nobody gives a crap about them east or west.

That's the problem. But, while it exists it gives rise to an "inflammatory reaction" throughout the world just like a boil on one's arm can give rise to septicemia (blood poisoning).

>What I do agree with you about is that the US is better off being isolationist.

I don't say that. I believe as the only superpower, and one who claims the moral high ground as result of its constitution etc, the US should be an "honest broker" and, if the contestants are not prepared to which they are not, then force a peace, whatever it is. But, the US is no longer an "honest broker" and supports Israel financially, militarily, in every way, right or wrong.

>Unfortunately I think some of these groups would merely get bored and start bombing in Europe.

You mean they just like doing bombs. Like the Kamikaze pilots enjoyed flying their planes into US carriers. It "turns them on", like some guys enjoy smoking grass or snorting coke. It's real fun to "go out on a high"!

>If you wish to bring up Bilderburgers and wealthy powerful cohorts trying to run the show into the ground in order to control it, I'll believe that one too, but sure seems dumb.

I have read a lot about the NWO etc but don't know what to make of it all. It does make sense, however, that there are people who are trying to manipulate economies and nations to a particular end. "Regime Change" is a typical way. I don't poo-poo it. That's why when "terrorism" happens I always try to understand the meaning of the particular act. Who benefits? What is the strategy? I don't accept that simply killing people, just because one can, is of advantage to anyone except a demented lunatic. When suicide bombs etc happen in Israel, Hamas, Islamic Jihad etc always claim responsibility, just like when the IRA did something or the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka. However, with 911 and Bali, Pres Bush & Co has claimed or assumed responsibility on behalf of al Qaeda and bin Laden. Yes, they can show us videos and interview spies and tell us that Muslims don't like freedom, blah-blah but, as far as I am concerned, none of it makes sense unless, of course, it is viewed as a tactic or ploy like Hitler's burning the Reichstag or the Bay of Tonkin etc.
