<g> I understand your pain, and know that BF is a tremendous player and Hall of Famer. But this is football!!! And one of many games to be played. I hope you are right - that he will be back very soon - but there are 10 others on an offensive team.

That said Pederson I believe is one of the best backups in the NFL. I think he was the starter for the one game that gave Shula the record for wins by a coach. Later on he left as a free agent to go to GB. I hope Ray Lucas can turn it around. The Dolphins can't take another 5 weeks of QB play like this even if they are focused on running and defense. Tim

<That said Pederson I believe is one of the best backups in the NFL> I'll need to disagree with you here. We had to live the nightmare called "Pederson" for 3/4 of a year in 1999. Andy Reid brought him along when he came to Philly from Green Bay. All in all, it was a painful experience watching him play. He was thoroughly despised by the fans and Reid cut him in training camp the following summer.
