OT~Karen, maybe in your haste you didn't consider this a dig .... I did. I said nothing of the kind. As I said, the US did send money, as well as food, and heating oil. Unfortunately, the US didn't have controls established to be sure the NK people actually got what the US sent to them...NOT to their leaders to use to develop WMD. I reread your post. So you wanted us to suspend sending food to North Korea so that the North Koreans would have starved to death
