well my position is, that stocks can't fall too much further than cash value if they are cash flow positive and their market is flat. I don't believe things are deteriorating here, at least for software since the summer. Is there a sustainable uptick? I'm not sure for software- I think there is an uptick in internet consumers like amzn, yahoo but that is partially seasonal. Wireless seems to be picking up based on the FON numbers. The brcm call said they are seeing strength in gigabit ethernet and weakness is set-top boxes, go figure.

What I don't know, is whether this choppyness is typical of a sector recovery. I wasn't working in the PC fallout of the late 80s.

I'm waiting for the cisco results to get a real read on things. I know they will be bad, but how bad.
