why do I care about cash flow?

Don't the U.S. automakers have lots of cashflow?

I want to buy return on investment with my money.

And you can argue that that piece of paper is worth some money. But there is absolutely no guarantee that INTC will be around in 10 years or 20 years or 30 years.....lots of competition in that sector. It is possible that that piece of paper is worth zero some time in the future.

Are you certain that this is the low of the trough in earnings? Maybe I was being generous with my starting point too.
