Yes, bears do normally end with low valuations, and we're a long, long way away from there. Of course, we didn't get a normal bull market, so there's no reason that we'll get a normal bear market.

Your original point, though, was this:

I didn't and don't agree with that. If you use optimistic growth assumptions, then Intel is a pretty good buy here. If you use absurd growth assumptions, Intel is a screaming buy here.
