I have put a BMW on lease out on our front lawn twice and sold it for more than the pay off. I have not done it for over 3 years so don't know if the payoff would still hold. I was always upside down on the mileage but always found a citizen to bail me out with BMW.

I now have a Lincoln LS and seriously doubt that I could sell for the the payoff, much less make a profit as I did with my over mileage Beemers. These were 5 and 7 series. In honor of the economy my last lease was a Lincoln. (G) Ms. MoneyPenny
