many of the "beat the estimates" are based on lower estimates anyway... so wooooo whoooo surprise... in any event, this casino is supposed to be about the future... so the thing to concentrate on would be the so called guidance and employment prospects...

but then again.... when we have a public that eats and digests news like these... what can be expected ?

Bush: If Saddam Hussein changes, that's 'regime change' Last Update: 4:11 PM ET Oct 21, 2002

President Bush said Monday that the United States is not insisting on removal of Saddam Hussein as the leader of Iraq, despite a national policy supporting "regime change." In a appearance with NATO Secretary General George Robertson at the White House, Bush said the U.S. would give diplomacy one more chance, adding if Iraq complied with UN resolutions on disarming and renouncing development of weapons of mass destruction, that in itself would constitute "regime change." Secretary of State Colin Powell said Sunday that disarmament is more important than deposing Hussein. Bush said the discovery of North Korea's progress in developing nuclear weapons is "troubling," and said he'd speak with Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and others in the region to achieve a peaceful solution to that brewing crisis.
