"At least Clinton didn't pretend he was a priest." He had Jesse Jackson for that. "All the same, he must have got a helluva fright when he saw all the SWAT guys coming for him." He probably thought the INS was a little touchy. One of the two undocumented men was from Guatemala. If I were him I'd get a lawyer and make a fuss about his treatment. Maybe the INS will allow him to stay while it's being looked at. Really, it is not legal for the police to pull over random vans and search them. They must ask permission first and you can say no.
