Are you saying, counterproductive? If so, why? " Just days after giving me all that bullshit about how the Confederates were ready to fight to the death against the Union, but were spared by their wise and humane leaders (snicker), you're claiming that the Israelis are making progress against the Palestinians through a foreign policy that has killed a grand total of only what, 3000 Palestinians in the past two years? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! LOL!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!My Confederate ancestors didn't give up the fight until the South was well and truly defeated. Our army took 250,000 army deaths, and our (free + slave) population was barely as large as what the Palestinians is now. That was 3.6% of our population, another confirming example of my estimates for how much killing is required to suppress a population through violence. To imagine that the Israelis could make progress against the Palestinians by killing a few thousand of them is silly. The CSA was not defended by supermen, and Palestine is not populated with eunuchs. Both states have men that are quite similar, genetically, and respond to force in very similar ways. When Israel puts a full 100% curfew on the Palestinians the number of terror incidents will decrease, at least temporarily, but they have to eventually remove those curfews, and when they do, the terrorism returns to its previous level. Israel has had this problem for 75 years, but the worst year of all has been the most recent one. What does that say about the tractability of the problem? I mean Jesus Weeps! If the terrorism problem could be solved by conservatives, one of the many previous conservative administrations in Israel would have solved it. That they have not solved it, is obvious the world around. That it cannot be solved by force is obvious to most, why not the US? -- Carl
