RTS,
Let me know when the bottom is in. You seem to have a good handle and a neutral, unbiased approach so when you say it, i may actually believe it. mike@skeptical.com

RtS, I have this half-baked idea that even a rise that is partly given back makes the stock stronger. This must be why PnF can only be updated once intraday. If a rise allows an X to be added in an X column, that X stays. the next change must wait for the next day and if it's a down change it requires a greater effort, since reversals [from Xs to Os] must be 3 boxes.

The main bullish percent indicator, bpNYA [or bpNYSE on Dorsey's web site] has reversed back up. This happens infrequently and is bullish for the market. Here's bpNYA stockcharts.com
Last time it turned up into Xs was early August as far as I can tell.
