Not literaly, necessarily. But it's clearly safer to stay home and not think about snipers, dirty bombers, anthrax attackers, etc., being somehow deliberately political about their actions in the public areas.

It's a paranoid conspiracy-theorist delusion that all of the above domestic American terrorism occured just when public opinon and Congressonal votes were needed to (a)get the Iraqi war vote, (b)avoid National Press Conference with survivors of 9/11 on unanswered questions on June 10th, and (c)get the Patriot Act passed without scrutiny.

That irrational paranoia is based on the fact that all these had highly political consequences, and now the current FEMA warning to congressmen not to have outdoor press conferences, and a major effect on public gatherings in the DC area including, oddly enough, political protest gatherings.

Some are saying they will be increasingly suspicious if there are further mysterious "incidents" that coincidently have anti-protest effects immediately prior to Oct. 26th.

Not me tho'. I trust the intelligence community and Bush crowd to be on their toes as they were on 9/11, and completely honorable as Prescott and the generations of Bushes before them...
