It was Bush Sr. that sent troops to Somalia, and it was Bush Jr. that sent spy planes to China (along with millions of dollars to get the pieces back after they copied it). Between those events the military under Commander in Chief Clinton performed an admirable job in the difficult tasks in East Europe, the Balkans, Haiti, and the Middle East.

Notice that Junior is not launching any big recruiting programs.

Explain this statement.... No troops were abandoned, they went on a mission they had been trained very well for and chose the conditions for carrying it out... They underestimated the "rag tag" enemy and took casualties they didn't expect. They refused to leave their dead buddies behind and took more casualties as a result... But no one abandoned them...
