Well I'm not sure it can call bottoms..but looking at 3mo
and 1 yr I look to see if the head has improved and
how it's relative strength is.

I do know that if they shoot more of the more liquid ones
we go down.

A good sign is has the momentum of the head stopped falling
and started up..( even if it's not leading yet )
That seems to be the case ( except for the last 5 days )
but with as fast as we went up..a lot of buying
is going to slow down ..in fact it already has
slowed ,
Just plain volume / price divergence shows taht.
ie- volume dropping as price goes up is evident
on over 70% of them.

Now I got lucky as I wasn't looking all
that hard but I started several weeks before we
hit the low on 10/10 and was still buying
on 10/10 ...I sold about 1/2 on the 15th
the other 1/2, I hedged by selling CCs
( just in case that bottom don't hold )
Took out some puts today, not a lot
but enough to help me protect the
long side against a correction.
