SS, It sounds invigorating. The extent of my boating experience has been my random fishing trips to a max of 12-15 miles off of the coast of Nantucket on a sturdy boat with a motor. :)

Your trip truly sounds awesome.

I remember 30 hours on the surface in the North Atlantic during a winter storm because of a bad reactor scram breaker. Over 20 years ago at this point and I can remember it like yesterday. The sea can be mighty impressive at times:)

And speaking of impressive I have 3" of new snow on the ground and a full moon. Beautiful combo looking out my office window right now over the fields to the south.

Can you say, "pitchpole" boys and girls?

I know you can.

Since we're talking boating, I thought I'd add this to the "glad I wasn't there" column. I know the captain of this boat.

Check out the picture about 2/3 of the way down. Incredible that anyone survived.
