IMO, Cheney should be forced to step down...

He's a true embarassment to honesty and INTEGRITY in a high office...But since Dubya likes to stretch the truth periodically* and is into loyalty could we ever expect him to change his management team...?

Who, exactly, do you think got to meet with Cheney to set energy policy, Bill?

I figure the people who produce energy, Win. Meeting with the Eco Nuts would have been a waste of time.

And why, exactly, are they fighting in court to keep it all secret?

Because, number one, they don't have to. The Courts will uphold them on this, and number two, because people like you would have had more reason to scream and holler that they were only meeting with energy producers.

W's energy policy itself, such as it is, is clear enough.

That's right. It is "Keep out of the way of the Energy Producers and let them Produce." The people who think like you lost the election, remember? So we are not wasting our time with all the nutty plans that Gore and the rest of the greens had for us.

So you keep on connecting all those dots on the charts on your walls, and waiting for "The Friends of Cheney" to come after you. :^)

Cheney met with Ken Lay for his energy policy. When Lay asked Cheney to remove price caps for energy, it was done the next day. Now we know that the "energy" for which Enron charged CA residents was NON-EXISTENT. Cheney needs to quit hiding in Jackson Hole WY and answer to the American public for his part in duping them.
