What is the fixed overhead for SIRI to offer their service (total qtrly expenses)? How much do their expenses increase relative to the number of subscribers they add? If this looks profitable, then it might be a good investment; otherwise, it might be emotional sentiment that is driving the stock price.

How many competitors will the satellite radio market accommodate? Moreover, just how big might be a market that is already saturated by established, well know radio stations with brands, personalities, and local advertising? Guess if people want radio without interruption, XMSR might be an interesting option, but it will come at a cost.

In a cash constrained environment, people will have to choose between what is important and what is not.
