Can you imagine if a sniper was to hit in Canada? We have almost zero resources to deal with something like that plus most have given up weapons rather than register.

In mid air, with a new observation to resolve, no one can be sure of the distance, thus the size of that bird; unless he chases it from rather close.

At best the angular speed of that bird would help, but as the plane is moving too...
