Only when I make statements like, "Seems to me that the gold price is weak and could fall below $310 but the stocks are still holding up reasonably well with XAU just below 60. What concerns me is the support line on this chart has been penetrated."

I did, however, notice what one might call a "bullish divergence" between the gold stocks and the gold price. In fact, the gold stocks had held up all week while POG kept on falling.
