No dis intended, but you have to consider that all forms of earnings do not deserve the same multiple when doing those 'valuations'. Furthermore, Big Blue has a lot more skeletons in the closet than just PE issues.

IBM has chosen to follow a path of degradation in the quality of their income streams. Even PE 15 is too high IMO, BWTFDIK. All I can say for sure is that one day one of us will be proven correct

MMM, anyone? or PG? These two are trading at twice the multiples of IBM.

I think you're onto something here. I am going to scan all companies by their PE's and get long the low PE ones as they must be undervalued. One question, what about the negative number ones? Should I consider those deep value?
