At Pitstop:

1) 3670 kb/s

2) 3030 kb/s

3) 3478 kb/s

4) 3150 kb/s

Also, I decided to wait a few minutes between the third and fourth test, so opened a new window to go to my SI Subjects page (my homepage.) It took 29 seconds to load.

I closed the window down and did it again, and this time it took 5 seconds to load.

That 29 seconds seems so long when you're staring at it. Like the microwave popcorn seems to take forever...

I did everything PitStop told me to, and I'm back to report that I shouldn't have been complaining -- PC Pitstop says I have a very fast system that should meet all my computer needs. So now I'm going to blame SI for how long it takes to get to my homepage in the morning.

Actually, I wasn't discontent except occasionally when I could brush my teeth while my homepage loaded, until I saw how fast the cable connection in that TV commercial was.

The test and tuneup located two Security problems. I had them autofix the Outlook Express "Email Security Zone" one, and the other I did manually. That was a little mysterious, because their instruction was to go to Tools.. Internet Options... Restricted Sites... and put everything on disable or prompt -- but everything was already on disable or prompt.

Also, they said for better performance, I should adjust my IE browser cache, which I had set at just 1, to from 5 to 80. So I did.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but things seem to be going along very perkily.

Thank you.
