He left it at anchor. The port captain tried to drag it back out to sea but couldn't get it off the beach. It's probably a total loss by now. It is a sad thing. He worked for years on that boat - had all the best of everything on it. It was his dream to cruise around the Carribean for a few years. That's where he was headed when the hurricane came up.
