First: define your terms.

It is obvious that life is an unbroken chain, going back to the first stirrings of life billions of years ago.

I - a unique individual - was formed by the union of my father's sperm, and my mother's ovum. At no point were these cells not alive, and this chain goes back unbroken to the dawn of time ('new' life from live cells).

What you meant to say was "does abortion stop discrete, unique individual life", and the answer obviously is "yes".

So does the death penalty, so does auto accidents, war, and the natural end of life.

So what point are you trying to make?

"Does abortion stop life?"

Birth control, ie contraception, stops life also. In your view is that the same as abortion. If not, why not? Before you answer, what music should I put on for your dance?
