How can you be so sure we're heading so low...? I'm just looking at the chart. geocities.com In the past ('29, '66) when we've touched or exceeded the upper channel line, we've had the start of a secular bear market. The first phase of the secular bear has been Panic. The Panic hasn't ended until we've reached the lower channel line. Now "this time is different" could be right - but I wouldn't bet on it. I have a hard time seeing the Dow go below 6000 I do too - this year<g> I do expect a lot of turbulence in the next year as we move on with this slow recovery So do I. Next year is when I see Dow 4900. Others see the possibility. Message 18139118 I don't see Dow 2900 until around '08. But it's just a SWAG. lurqer
