The idea that an Israeli withdrawal to its pre-67 borders will either bring it broad international support or defuse terrorist acts against its people is as much blithering propaganda as anything else I've seen on this thread.

Any chance you might be willing to simply argue this position rather than throw rotten apples??

The recent fighting between the IDF and the settlers at Gilad's farm indicates that withdrawal to the 1967 borders is going to be very, very hard for Israel to do. Apparently the settlers have rebuilt the structures which were torn down.

I would imagine that it supports the Palestinian argument that Israel never intended to do so (withdraw) in the first place.

Blithering propaganda R us around here. It's a war, and we all know what the first casualty is. Of course, the people most in favor of war got the biggest task in making sure the first casualty is good and dead. War is peace and all that.
