I defend the right of everyone to talk about shooting people. I simply don't APPROVE of it. In fact I find it disgusting and shocking and morally reprehensible behavior. I gauge most things by asking myself, "Would I want my children to do that?" It has nothing to do with my children, and everything to do with what kind of behavior I personally approve of.

I defend my right to tell you what I would let my children do. You must be a barbarian if you disagree with that.

Yep. there are lots of things that one has a right to say.

That doesn't make it right to say them.

A distinction certain self-proclaimed right wing extremists would do well to think on.

Assuming, which is not a very safe assumption, that they are capable of thought.
