Know what you mean-- I have an old DELL,, about '92. Neighbor kids play with it. Called DELL support, they asked for the number of the sticker on the back and BINGO-- Surprise,, they had my 'new' address as I moved in '98! BTW-- question answered,, disk with software fix arrived and it was back in business.
