Hahah! < Is Qualcomm worth more than New Zealand ?> I had to stop and figure it out for a while. Not yet, but QCOM might be worth more in a few years - probably around 2010.

4 million Kiwis with an average value of $1 million = NZ$4 trillion = US$2 trillion. However, I think a democratically-decided voluntary takeover offer could get the place [with vacant possession] for half that.

So, the values are similar. QUALCOMM is gaining ground very rapidly while NZ is going down the gurgler.

Not many NZers are QUALCOMM shareholders, but I'm doing my bit to increase NZ's value. Actually, it seems to be doing okay lately [especially in Auckland].

For years, the daily value of QCOM traded has been more than all of the NZ stock exchange trades each day.
