<<Meanwhile as WLD points out Korea an original axis of evil admits ( at a time of intense sabre rattling no less ) to having a Nuclear program and Bush side steps the issue to carry on about Saddam? What is wrong with this picture? >>

Nothing. We should negotiate instead of using force because:

1) N. Korea has The Bomb making the cost of invasion orders of magnitude higher.

2) N. Korea has a powerful ally in China that we don't want to piss off. This could work to our advantage because N. Korea is also completely dependent on China. We may be able to work through a third party to achieve our goals. In the Middle East Saddam isn't anybody's client and the big player, Saudi Arabia, is our ally and not Saddam's. (joke)

3) N. Korea doesn't have oil or anything else that the rest of the world wants or cares about. I know I've got all the Kim-Chee I'll ever need.
