yeah... the tax trolls are lurking and waiting for their bosses, to be elected... so all that high valued residential real estate will be hit in those states where they can... (baring the enacted limitations)

So perhaps it may be high time to pack and head for Ecuador, or Costa Rica, even Nicaragua, now that the Commies have been dethroned...

Cuba does sound appealing, but not quite yet.. it is far too early, the Commies are still in power, Uncle Fidel, while in the process of becoming an old fart, the bastard can still throw a stinker in park mode and really mess things up... -g.

The point is.. if all these bad to worse news, plus the ghost of New York (or any other large city) becoming anything like Beirut... hell The Fidel scenario may not be all that bad... and who knows... one may find some cheap real estate that may sound somehow attractive... of course, there is the adventure side... (and most probably very large cockroaches to deal with -gg) hmmm kind of interesting I would say.... it really depends on how bad it gets to be... just a thought for an option
