Those were like Coupons, and it sure as the world does compound for
the length of the coupon.
Had some 10ys 10% in 76 and was wishing
I had bought a lot more .

Bought some 6% in 93 , they will expire next year
but 6% is just a double in 12yrs.
After they expire they go to current 5yr rates at that
time but keep compounding for another 10yrs..
or maybe it's 20. ( I'd have to look those up and don't
have the time right now. )
