scoot-

beautiful photographs.

when i looked out my kitchen window
this morning, i saw some large bird
sitting on my trellis - all puffed up -
and then as if it knew i was watching,
turned its head 190 degrees and stared
at me with huge black eyes.

i was a barred owl. i don't think i'v
ever seen an owl before.

i am taking this as a sign of... something.
something good i think <g>

ps, i almost forgot why i got into telling
you about my owl. i grabbed the camera to
take a picture of her and i was out of film.
