They're not intellectuals, they're pseudo-intellectuals... no genuine intellectual could possibly claim to have made those inane and irresponsible comments... the pseudo-intellectual takes the position he's above the fray, above the all the bickering and differences and somehow sees the true and higher issue at hand, playing some kind of do-gooder mediating role... they're fakes, all of them, parading around as intellectuals when they haven't an ounce of common sense between them...
