"America is a Menace." That attitude is what is shaping the left's attitude toward action against Saddam. The Anti-Liberal Anti-War Case By Michael Kelly Wednesday, October 23, 2002; Page A27 Michael Kelly is in desperate need of an editor. No tongue in cheek. He has an argument with Anthony Lewis and Anatol Lieven. Fine. Argue with them. But that's not enough for the always over steamed one. He must claim they are "the left" and are indicative of what's wrong with the left. Well, if you wish to argue that, please make your case, by tripping across a sort of representative sample. Ah, but that would take the fun out of the game. And, it would take the fun to actually accurately depict the Lewis' argument, that is, that's it's a critique of the Bush administration's policies, not of "America." But to do that would take the fun out of calling the left anti-American. Grow up, Michael Kelly.
