>>I've been a member of SI almost as long as there's been an SI.

For which I commend you. I've been here even longer.

>>If I choose not to include a ton of personal information, you'll just have to assume I consider it to be none of your business.

Fine with me... it's your choice. I choose to evaluate your contributions on their merits, just as do you.

>>You don't need to look at the back of the pad for density numbers, you can stand 6 feet away and count it yourself.

LOL! Very funny, and undoubtedly true.

Don, I think you mismanaged your expectations. I doubt that HD carries many fixtures of the caliber your would accept for your home, as is the case with me. However, their overall revenue growth and market share indicate they are carrying the products to achieve their goals. They do have high-end products at Expo, which I have used several times. Another poster here indicated that they had a selection of quality carpet there.

>>You obviously have the kind of lemming like mentality that buys into whatever company hype is feed to you.

No, I just interpret the numbers differently than you. That's what makes it a market of stocks.

>>...but if you need carpet, it's NOT the best place to shop.

No. If you or I need carpet, it's not the best place to shop. But, we are not HD's targeted carpet customers. And, in many cities, they do provide us an alternative in Expo.
