IEarnedIt, that was great! There's no better place to turn than CNN for breaking news but there's no worse place to turn for fill-airtime talking-head babble. It's one thing having a foreign affairs expert explaining some aspect of foreign policy we'd otherwise have no idea about, but do we really need a parade of serial killer "experts" speculating he may stop killing at any time or he may escalate; he may be smart or he may lucky; he may be a loner or he may be a family man; he may be serious with his demands or he may be laughing as we try to meet them, etc.? There's a new cliché in our society that such stuff is fodder for the Internet chat boards. I agree! Everyone likes a good mystery. The difference is that we all know (with one glaring exception) that no one's opinion counts any more than anyone else's. I've truthfully gotten much more of an education here than from the news media. - Jeff
