I understand your point of view. It is a perfectly reasonable point of view. Objectively speaking, it makes perfect sense.

Unfortunately, it is not congruent with the actual beliefs of the actual people involved in the actual conflict.

CB, you cannot make all Palestinian aspiration equal to Hamas/PIJ/Hezbollah. The latter are extremists. JUST AS THERE ARE ISRAELI EXTREMISTS settlers, Kach and various organisations that advocate the expulsion of Arabs etc. Is Israel Kach? Not anymore than Palestinians are Hamas.


Totally false comparison. In Israel there is one government that maintains rule of law and always has. The PLO has never even attempted this -- in fact, the PLO is also terrorist and is nearly as extreme as Hamas (it's been functionally indistinguishable for the last two years).

Israel is not Kach. Kach is illegal and out of business. Hamas rules Gaza in all but name. See the difference?
