For years, low margins were the bane of high tech. The low margin issue is relatively new (in the last 3-5 years, depending on the company).

I agree that selling for a loss (unless part of a larger, more profitable strategy) should be avoided at all costs.

I just read an article in InfoWorld that compared two midrange servers in great detail, a cpq proliant dl-580 g2 with a dell power edge 2600.

Great reviews for both, IW says, can't go wrong with either server!!!!!
