The evidence is in the fact that they mention militias at all. Thats very flimsy evidence indeed. The Bill of Rights was more tightly constructed than the Constitution itself and it makes no sense to assume they stuck unrelated idle musings into the language. It makes less sense that they would allow a clause that makes no prohibitions or mandates and which does not by proper grammar modify the other clause to have a material impact on the meaning of the amendment.
