Eric, your link shows 26 different sets of Tarot cards. That illustrates my point that the number of people from the metro DC area that recently bought a deck similar to the one used by the sniper has got to be small. Again, I would think it common sense to have checked this out, but you never know.

Also, assuming the sniper used the net, that would make things even easier because electronic records are much easier to trace, not to mention he'd likely have used an identifiable credit card and a mailing address. The two kids who committed the recent "Dartmouth Murders" were caught when the unusual knife sheathes found at the scene were traced to them via the net site where they bought the knives.
