Mini-rant from someone who thought he had, at the very least, a half a brain left. The Fed's tan book comes out with what can be described at best as a fairly dismal picture of the economy and the market reacts positively because this somehow increases the chances of yet another futile Fed rate cut? Please, someone tell me what the hell is wrong with this picture. Or is it just me who is missing something here and must, sadly (or gladly, as the case may be) accept the fact that he no longer has any part of a brain to contend with?
