I know I'll be yelled at, but there is a simple reason the market is rallying: Its time to take money away from the shorts. Remember: The market tries to screw as many people as possible, that's just the way it works. I have never seen so many confident shorts than in the past month, nor have I seen so many 'rookies' start to go short, so as soon as they are all exposed, the market takes it away from them. Didn't the market do the same to the rookie longs in 2000? It really is that simple. Every short and their mother knew Sept-Oct was going to be bad, they greedily lined up and then the market springs its trap. I think the market has a bit more 'screwing' to do before it is all over.
