Yes, I did notice, and I do the same thing, its really the only way to survive the market machine.

Everyone here is quite smart and on top on their trading, I don't suspect any of the thread participants experienced any great pain over the last few years, that is for the rookies, which IMHO, represent over 90% of the 'investors' out there, many 'professionals' included.

But the crooks need victims and if the victims out number the crooks 9 to 1, its like shooting fish in a barrel. <g>

The 1342-1350 area not only intersects a falling resistance line, it is a multiple fib point off many of the major pivot highs.

We need to see how this handles that area, and then we need to see how it handles the re-trace from that area.

I haven't been watching the volume much, but it appears today's volume was a bit better than recent volume.

One sign that momentum may be slowing is the lower low we made today in addition to the higher high. I believe that's the first lower low we've made since the middle of the month.

Jeff: Put your deja vu hat on again. The week after options expiration was the culmination of the August ramp. We are there now -- again. Compare this week's candles from Monday through Wednesday to the same week in August. White stick, harami, white stick with slightly higher high. Now we are moving to Thursday which was the top in August. FWIW.
